Redrock on Booie lies on a ridge of the Booie Range which is situated in the South Burnett region of South-East Queensland.

We are Booie's newest luxury cottages only a short distance from boutique wineries and restaurants.

We showcase local produce and specialise in creating the ultimate "Booie Experience".

Your hosts are Neil and Jan Archer and their Board of Directors, Alicia, Ebony and Teddy the Lowline cows.

Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.  You can rest, restore or replenish!  Try some of the region's food, wine and fun.

Our area is renowned for its variety of birds and wildlife. We are known for our rich red soil, big skies and famous produce such as corn, wheat, sunflowers, wine grapes, olives, stone fruit and milk for the fantastic cheeses.

At Redrock we are committed to protecting the natural environment and raising awareness of environmental issues, particularly soil degradation and water conservation.

Protecting the natural environment refers to many factors and we try to embrace all of them including:

• Protecting and conserving the natural flora and fauna
• Protecting our precious natural resources
• Education about environmental issues
• Demonstrating cultuaral sensitivity
• Contributing to conservation on a local, state, national and global level
• Working with the local community

We currently employ best practice principles for our accommodation and activities through many innovations including:

• Water efficient showers and dual flush toilets
• Energy efficient appliances
• Bio-degradable cleaners and products
• Landscaping with natives and low water plants
• Using designated paths etc

We encourage our guests to raise awareness of environmental concerns through their personal efforts in water conservation, conserving electricity and collecting rubbish into bins provided.

We support Eco-tourism organisations in their efforts to promote environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation and conservation.
